Funk Reviews...

This section of the site is dedicated to true connoisseurs of the funk. When I say funk music, I mean FUNK music! Not some treble-too-high, over produced, shallow lower case "technically" funk. I will always TRY to be fair in my reviews, but I'm not pulling punches on music which I deem a waste of time (trying to find it,) and ESPECIALLY MONEY (considering how much one can pay for a CD these days.) At the beginning AND end of the day, Funk-Fu is all about the lowdown, nasty, sweaty popcorn, dirty-funky-FUNK where James "Godfather of Soul" Brown is king.

Kung Fu Reviews...

I'm tired of vague, copied-off-the-back-of-the-box, martial arts film illiterate jive kung fu movie "reviews." Because of "reviews" like this I've wasted so much money on corny, broken-down, "fast-forward through" kung fu movies. We are not here to make Funk-Fu a part of that tradition. I take this film genre seriously, and after reading my brief reviews, I hope that you will know if you want to drop loot on whatever movie Funk-Fu is reviewing.
